Travelpharm is an independent private pharmacy based in Devon and a member of the National Pharmaceutical Association, a professional body providing advice to pharmacists throughout the UK. The pharmacist responsible for this site is Paul Stacey, B Pharm MRPS, the registered owner of the pharmacy.
Around 2000 cases of malaria a year occur amongst travellers returning to the UK and subsequently result in a number of deaths. Apart from chemoprophylaxis (anti-malarial drugs) bite avoidance is all important. Such measures as regular use of insect repellents and mosquito nets and wearing long-sleeved clothing after are recommended.
Travelpharm aims to meet your travel heath needs. First aid and medical kits, total sun block, travel sickness tablets, water purification tablets and flight socks are available. As a registered pharmacy Travelpharm can complete your travel kit by providing you with pharmacy only medication such as diarrhoea treatments and travel sickness preparations.
