For Travelpharm to supply prescription anti-malarial drugs we will require a private prescription written by your doctor. We will post on your Lariam (Mefloquine) once in receipt of the prescription.

How to Order Lariam (Mefloquine)

Option 1 - Order online using the add to basket button below, select the quantity required and then pay online. Post your prescription along with your online order receipt to the address supplied.

Option 2 - Print and fill in our Mail Order Form. Send your completed form along with your prescription to the address supplied, don't forget to add any other items you may require to the form to be posted along with your medication.

Lariam (Mefloquine) Dosage
Please note it is recommended that Mefloquine is taken as follows

For Adults:

One tablet each week for three weeks before departure (3 tablets)(enables check for any unwanted side-effects)
One tablet each week whilst in malarious area (1 tablet/week)
One tablet each week for four weeks on return from malarious area (4 tablets)

i.e. 8 tablets are required for a stay of one week
9 tablets are required for a stay of two weeks.. etc

For Children:

Each dose is taken once a week on the same day as the adult dosage. Exact dosage is dependant on age and weight (see below):

20-30 kg (44-66 lbs)	6 - 8 years	Half Tablet
31-45 kg (68-99 lbs)	9-14 years	Three Quarters Table

Anti Malarial and Private Prescription

For Travelpharm to supply prescription anti-malarial drugs or private prescription drugs you will require a private prescription written by your Doctor. We can post on your medication when in receipt of the prescription. You will recieve an email which you will need to print out and send along with the prescription to the following address:
