Doxycycline hyclate 100mg (for Adults and Children over 12 years of age) - 14p per capsule

For Travelpharm to supply prescription anti-malarial drugs we will require a private prescription written by your doctor. We will post on your Doxycycline once in receipt of the prescription.

How to Order Doxycycline

Option 1 - Order online using the add to basket button below, select the quantity required and then pay online. Post your prescription along with your online order receipt to the address supplied.

Option 2 - Print and fill in our Mail Order Form. Send your completed form along with your prescription to the address supplied, don't forget to add any other items you may require to the form to be posted along with your medication.

Doxycycline Dosage

Please note it is recommended that Doxycycline is taken:
One capsule daily for 2 days before departure (2 capsules)(7 days if doxycycline not ever taken before * see note below)
One capsule daily for each day you are in malarious zone (7 capsules/ week)
One capsule daily for four weeks on return from malarious zone(28 capsules)

i.e. 37 cap. are required for a stay of one week
44 capsules are required for a stay of two weeks etc.

*IMPORTANT:
Doxycycline is effective for prophylaxis of malaria if taken 2 to 3 days before departure. The advice of one week before departure is to check for any unwanted side-effects, and allow time to change to a different preparation if it should prove necessary.

Please note that we are unable to supply more anti-malarial tablets than have been prescribed by your doctor!

Anti Malarial and Private Prescription

For Travelpharm to supply prescription anti-malarial drugs or private prescription drugs you will require a private prescription written by your Doctor. We can post on your medication when in receipt of the prescription. You will recieve an email which you will need to print out and send along with the prescription to the following address:
