Symptoms of Malaria:

Malaria is a disease that is spread by mosquitoes, if malaria is not treated or diagnosed then it can be very quickly fatal. Therefore it is important to know the symptoms of malaria, which include cyclical fevers, sweats & chills, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea and muscle pains. Symptoms usually appear 7-18 days after becoming infected, however, there are some cases where symptoms cannot appear until after a year, therefore it is important to seek medical advice if you suffer flu-like symptoms up to a year after leaving a malaria-risk area.
