Malaria Risk & Vaccination Information

Malaria precautions are essential. Malaria risk exists from May to November. The risk is present below 1500m in northern areas of Duhok, Erbil and Sulaimaniya provinces. You will require Avloclor Tablets (Chloroquine) as the preferred anti-malarial medication if visiting or passing through these areas.

All other areas very low risk, adopt bite avoidance measures.
