Malaria Risk & Vaccination Information for Zimbabwe

What is the risk of malaria in Zimbabwe?

If visiting the Zambezi valley and Victoria Falls, you will require antimalarials all year round. All other areas below 1200 metres are at risk from November to June. The risk is slight in Harare and Bulawayo, but remember to take preventive measures against getting bitten.

Because of the high risk of malaria in areas of Zimbabwe, antimalarials are advised if visiting these areas.
