What is the risk of malaria in Thailand?
Risk is present at the borders with Cambodia, Southern Laos, Myanmar (Burma) and Malaysia. There is also a risk in the Kaeng Krung, Kaeng Krachan, and Khai Sok national parks west of Surat Thani and in Khao Nam Khang on the border with Malaysia.
The risk of malaria is very low risk in all other areas including Chaing Mai, Chaing Rai, Bangkok, Ko Chang island, and Phuket, as well as tourist trips to Kwai Bridge.
