This medicine is for use in Adult travellers, not necessarily mountaineers, who will travel to high altitude areas quickly without suitable acclimatisation periods. Typical tourist destinations include the South American Andes (Peru and Bolivia) and Kilimanjaro treks. However, at Travelpharm we have seen it all with mountaineers off to Pakistan, Nepal and Russia.
