Andrews salts traditionally known as Andrews Liver Salts has a laxative and antacid action to relieve symptoms of upset stomach or indigestion. Containing 3 active ingredients that work to neutralise excess acid and help relieve symptoms and discomfort. To be dissolved in water before taking.

How it works:

Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate: Neutralises excess acid in the stomach

Citric Acic: Helps to alleviate the discomfort in the stomach

Magnesium Sulphate: Acts as a laxative

Dosage:

Adults take one 5ml spoonful with a glass of water up to a maximum of four times a day. Children over 3 years use half the adult dose.

Not suitable for children under the age of 3

Contains:

Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 22.6%w/w, Citric Acid 19.5% w/w, magnesium Sulphate 17.4%w/w.

Caution:

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Before using consult your doctor if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, if you are taking any other prescribed medicines or are pregnant. Andrews Original Salts are not intended for daily use due to the high salt content. If a laxative is required daily please speak with your doctor or pharmacist for medical advice.
