Brolene Eye Drops is for the treatment and quick relief from minor eye infections including red or inflamed eyes, stickiness, or a crust on the eyelid.
It is advised you remove any contact lenses before using Brolene and then reapply them 15 minutes after applying the eye drops.
Symptoms of conjunctivitis
Conjunctivitis is an eye condition caused by infection or an allergy, it is also known as red or pink eye.
Conjunctivitis usually affects both eyes but can affect just the one eye and it is very contagious.
Symptoms of conjunctivitis:
- Red.
- Burning or feel gritty.
- Produces pus that sticks to the lashes.
- Itchy.
- Watery.
How does Brolene work?
Brolene Eye Drops works by stopping the growth of bacteria allowing your body to fight of the infection.
Can Brolene be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
It is advised you speak with your doctor before using Brolene if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Who is it suitable for?
Brolene is suitable for adults and children who need treatment for minor eye infections.
Direction for use
Squeeze one or two drops in the affected eye up to four times a day.
Use for at least 2 days.
If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 days, talk to your doctor or our pharmacist.
Who is it not suitable for?
Do not use Brolene Eye Drops if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed below.
Contains
Propamidine Isetionate, Ammonium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Benzalkonium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide and Water for injections.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Brolene does have side effects however not everyone will experience them.
If you experience any of the following side effects, stop using Brolene and contact your doctor.
- You get any kind of skin problem, such as a rash or itching around your eyes or they become more red.
- You get a stinging or burning sensation in your eye.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.
To be used in the eyes only.
