What is COVID-19 & Why Is Testing Important?
COVID-19 is a highly contagious respiratory illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It can lead to severe health complications and spread rapidly within communities.
Home testing for COVID-19 is crucial for early detection, helping to prevent transmission, protect vulnerable populations, and manage outbreaks effectively by enabling prompt isolation and treatment.
How To Use:
Nasal Swab Sampling:
- Insert the collection tip of the swab into one nostril.
- Rotate > 4 times (15 seconds in total).
- Repeat the above process in the other nostril.
Sample Pretreatment:
- Pour the Sample Extraction Solution into the Extraction Tube.
- Inset the Sterile Swab into the Extraction Tube and rotate 10 times.
- Squeeze the Sterile Swab 3 times.
- Close the lid and tighten the Extraction Tube.
Test:
- Add 2-3 sample drops into the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Card.
- Allow the Test Card to absorb the solution.
- Wait up to 15 minutes for your result.
- Refer to the User Manual to analyse your test result as Positive, Negative or Invalid.
