What are the symptoms of a cold?
Cold symptoms come on gradually and may include:
- A blocked or runny nose.
- Sore throat.
- Headaches.
- Muscle aches.
- Coughs.
- Sneezing.
- Temperature.
- Pressure in the ears or face.
- Loss of taste or smell.
The symptoms are the same in adults and children, however sometimes may last longer in children and some people may experience 1 symptoms whilst others experience all the symptoms.
Can this be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Do not use Night Nurse Liquid if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Who is it suitable for?
Adults and children over the age of 16 who are suffering with cold and flu like symptoms.
How To Use:
Adults and children aged 16 years and over: fill the measuring cup to the 20ml mark.
Take one 20ml dose at bedtime only.
Who is it not suitable for?
Do not take Night Nurse Liquid if:
- You have an allergy to any of the ingredients listed below.
- If you have a chest infection, worsening asthma or severe respiratory problems.
- If you have taken depression tablets within the last 2 weeks.
Ingredients:
Paracetamol 1000 mg, Promethazine Hydrochloride 20 mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15 mg, Liquid Glucose, Ethanol (alcohol), Macrogol 300, Sodium Cyclamate, Acesulfame K, Sodium Citrate, Ascorbic Acid, Disodium Edentate, Medicated Flavour Liquid, Colours Quinoline Yellow (E 104) and Patent Blue V (E 131) and Water.
Side effects
Like all medicines Night ~Nurse can have side effects however, not everyone will experience them.
If you experience any of the following stop taking this medicine immediately and contact your doctor.
- Allergic reaction.
- Breathing problems.
- Confusion.
- Restlessness.
