Otrivine Nasal Drops provide relief of congestion that is associated with colds, hay fever, catarrh, and sinusitis for up to 10 hours.

This is designed to open up and clear the nasal passages and helping to reduce swollen blood vessels to their normal size.

What causes a blocked nose?

  • Cold and flu.
  • Hay fever.
  • Sinusitis or a sinus infection.
  • Reaction to a medication.

Otrivine Nasal is designed to help relieve blocked and stuffy noses this works by clearing your nasal passages to help you breathe more easily.

Can these be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

You will need to contact your doctor before you take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Who is it suitable for?

Adults and children over the age of 12 that need help to clear congestion.

How To Use:

For adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 to 3 drops in each nostril up to 3 times a day.

Do not exceed 3 applications daily in each nostril.

Who is it not suitable for?

Do not use these drops if:

  • Allergic to any of the ingredients listed below.
  • Have had recent neurosurgery.
  • Have chronic nasal inflammation.

Ingredients:

Xylometazoline Hydrochloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Acid Phosphate, Disodium Edetate, Benzalkonium Chloride, Sorbitol, Hypromellose and Water.

Side Effects:

Like all medicines, Otrivine does have side effects however not everyone will experience them.

If you experience any of the following stop taking it immediately and contact your doctor.

  • Headache.
  • Allergic reaction.
  • Dryness of the nasal membranes.
  • Nasal discomfort.
  • Nausea.

Warning:

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Do not give to children under the age of 12.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
