Imodium Plus Comfort are designed to treat the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea & symptoms associated with abdominal discomfort including bloating, cramping or flatulence.

Imodium Plus Comfort works by restoring your bowel to its normal rhythm. This helps to restore the absorption of fluids into your body. It also helps to soothe the discomfort of painful cramps.

Imodium Plus Comfort contain 2 active ingredients, loperamide hydrochloride and simeticone. Both these ingredients work together to slow the muscular contractions of the intestine and reduce the speed of the contents being pushed through the intestine, allowing for more water to be reabsorbed back into the body. Resulting in former stools that are passed less frequently.

Remember, Imodium is for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and is not a substitute for rehydration therapy.


Tablets (6)

Adults over 18 years: 2 tablets, followed by 1 tablet after every loose stool. No more than 4 tablets per day.
Children aged 12 to 18 years: 1 tablet, followed by 1 tablet after every loose stool. No more than 4 tablets per day.

Caplets (12)

Adults and children over 18 years: Two caplets straight away followed by one caplet after each loose motion. No more than four caplets in 24 hours.
Children 12 to 18 years: One to be taken straight away then one to be taken after each loose bowel motion. No more than four caplets in 24 hours.


Each contains loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg and simeticone equivalent to 125 mg dimeticone.


Not to be taken for more than 2 days. Not to be used in children under 12 years. Always read the product leaflet before use.

We offer free delivery* on all mainland UK orders and we aim to dispatch orders within 24-72 hours (please allow for weekends, bank holidays and busy periods). These turnaround times are a guide and our advice is to order your anti-malaria treatments at least two weeks before going on holiday.  If you need it any sooner please do not be put off from ordering, it might be worth a quick phone call to us to check whether we can meet your expectations.

Orders are sent out via UK Standard Delivery (usually Royal Mail Tracked 2nd Class), but upgraded services to shorten transit time are also available, where we use Express Delivery at £3.99 (usually Royal Mail Tracked 1st Class) or Express Premium Delivery at £6.99 (DPD or Royal Mail Special Delivery).

Next Day postage options are only available Monday to Thursday are unable to guarantee a Saturday delivery. Please note the Premium Express delivery option does not mean your order will be processed any faster.

We may need to contact you regarding Online Consultations, so please provide a valid email address and telephone number. It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide the correct and complete medical information.

We will not be held responsible for any losses to you the customer if your order does not arrive in time.

Unfortunately, due to UK rules and regulations produced by the MHRA for distance selling pharmacies like Travelpharm, we are unable to ship products outside the UK.


We understand that you may want, at times, to return an item you've purchased from us. To make this process quick and convenient for you, please read the policy below.


We regret that we cannot, by law, accept returns of any medication. If you return a medicine to us all we can do is dispose of it correctly for you as it cannot be resold.  This is to ensure the integrity of the UK medicine supply chain.

Of course, if we have made a mistake or if the product is faulty or damaged, we will accept returns as long as you contact us within 10 days of receiving the order and we have received the product back within 30 days.  Please give us a call or contact Travelpharm via the contact us page if you wish to return an item due to an error made by ourselves as we will need to thoroughly investigate why the error occurred.  This is our obligation as a registered UK pharmacy.    

Once we have received the returned item we will refund the amount paid or resend the product.


If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with any other item you have purchased from us, you may return it if you notify us within 10 days of receiving the order and we receive the product back within 30 days. Once we have received the returned item we will refund the amount paid or resend the product.


All returned products must be in their original packaging, unopened and in a re-saleable condition. We only accept returns for products that have been purchased through us.

Any return which does not meet the conditions set above will not be refunded or replaced.
