Privacy

At Travelpharm, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information we collect about you to process orders, provide a more personalised shopping experience and to make sure your medicines choices are safe and suitable

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you order, we need to know your contact, address and your payment details. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to keep you notified of how you order is progressing. We also ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem. Some orders are dispatched by courier, in these cases, your telephone details will be shared so that you can get your order more efficiently.

We may also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site.

We may also use the information we collect to notify you about important functionality changes to our site, new services and special offers we think you'll find valuable, but we realise how busy you are and therefore this is never excessive. If you would rather not receive this information, we always give you the opportunity to unsubscribe. Make sure to change your preferences for each account or e-mail address you have left with us.

How does Travelpharm protect my information and make shopping safe

When you place orders or access your account information, we make use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the internet to us. Because of this in the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges that result from unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, or may limit your liability to just £50.00.

Furthermore, to ensure compliance with the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 and the relevant Irish legislation, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Do you disclose any information you collect to outside parties?

We never sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. However, we may provide anonymous aggregated statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-parties who we deal with, such as suppliers. This never ever includes personal details.

In summary:

We have a no-nonsense commitment to protecting your privacy. We use the information collected on the site to make shopping at Travelpharm possible and to make your experience with us the best we can. We never sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. If you would rather not receive contact from us, we always give you the opportunity to unsubscribe. Make sure to change your preferences for each account or e-mail address you have left with us.
